Previs Recognized with the Harlan Hamm Longstanding Award for Devoted Service

Dr. Kathy Previs, associate professor of public relations in the Department of Communication, was recognized at the 2017 Kentucky Communication Association's (KCA) Annual Conference on Sept. 16 with the  Harlan Hamm Longstanding Award for Devoted Service to the Association (Lifetime Achievement Award) .

I COME FROM: Imagination is Freedom is a documentary that looks at incarcerated poets and playwrights who us the power of creativity to change their lives.  Clinton Brewer states "I write so I don't lose my mind."

This event will be held on Wednesday, September 20 in Crabbe Library at 7:00 pm.

The event is free and open to the public.  Refreshments will be provided at 6:30 pm.

Director Robby Henson will attend and participate in a Q&A following the screening.  Proof of attendance will be provided.
